Three Little Daisies

This card I created using this week's sketch from the "Feeling Sketchy" challenge. My Get Well card supply is running low and I decided to make this a "Feel Better Soon!" card. Hopefully, it will brighten someone's day!

Base Card - Textured 12x12" cardstock in a chocolatey brown shade from Recollections.
Pattern Card Stock - 6x6" "Enchanted" Simple Stories Double-sided stack. Matted on white card stock.
Embossing - Cuttlebug "Pinking Stitch" folder.
Photo Corners - My Little World "Corners" die set.
Daisies - Cut on the Explore using the Daisies image from the "Gypsy Wanderings" cartridge. I added orange Skittles to the flower centers.
Sentiment - Computer-generated using the "Bradley Hand" font on my font system.
Ribbon -   From my ribbon stash, sorry, no name.

Glittery Hearts

Valentine's Day is just around the corner, time to get really creative! This is the first Valentine's Day challenge for me...so far. :) ;)
I'm not too sure how I feel about using pink and black colors on my valentine cards, but I do love the traditional red & white color combos. So, here is my card!
I started with a basic white card base, and matted it with a red glittery cardstock from the "Holiday Glitzy Solids" stack from Craft Smith. I then use a Martha Stewart Hearts border punch on the bottom.
I used a satin lined sheer ribbon on the side and added two silver glittered heart brads by Recollections.
The white panel is plain cardstock which I embossed with a Darice "Hearts" folder on my Cuttlebug. The three hearts I cut out at different sizes on my Explore. I then embossed the hearts with a Provo Craft "Swiss Dots" folder on my Cuttlebug. The white heart I sprayed silver using "Glitter Mist".
The sentiment I wrote and printed out on my Explore with a Cricut pen in Ebony Black ink, and matted it with the same red glittery cardstock. I used the little negative heart cuts from the border punch, on the sentiment for some bling.
Sorry, my colors are do not show as red & white as they really are...Santa didn't bring me a new camera! :(:(

Vintage World Map

This card I created using the sketch from Catch the Bug Blog "Stella Says Sketch", I needed to make a male card in a vintage theme for this week at The Male Room Challenge. I think this sketch worked perfect for both challenges. Happy the way it turned out
* Started with a Kraft paper base card which has a matching envelope.
* Cut a strip of plain cardstock and embossed it with a Provo Craft "Hounds tooth" folder. The       ribbon I used on the strip pretty much looks and feels like a shoe-lace like material.
* Triangles are burnt brass stick -ons.
* Vintage map is a computer print out of "World Wonders". which I double-matted..
* Sentiment tag is an  "Artist" cartridge image cut. I printed out the sentiment using the "Algerian" font on the Cricut Explore.

Baby Boy Diaper Pin

YAY!!! Finally!!.... My very first post for 2018!
Happy New Year, wishing the year is starting out good for everyone. After the rush, rush, rush of the holiday season, PLUS my grandson's Soccer games, then catching this "yuck" that is hitting everyone and being in bed for a little over a week, I think I am now ready to really get back into crafting...let's hope!
*First, is this baby card I made, and it sure felt good to be crafting again!
I started with plain Navy cardstock over the base and applied a light blue baby footprints pattern paper over the Navy.
*The panel is also plain Navy and White cardstock. I embossed each with a Cricut "Cane Back Chair" folder. I wrapped Navy and Light Blue embroidery cord around the panel and added a Diaper pin with a bears face on it (my new embellishment).
*The sentiment is a banner image cut using the Close to My Heart - Artiste Cartridge, The text is written on my Explore using a "Geoed" color ink Cricut pen.
*I popped the image with 3-D tape squares. Added a small Navy blue button to banner.
